How many people can play in an escape room?
The ideal group size is 2–6 players per room (depending on the game). For larger groups, we recommend booking multiple rooms in parallel – also great as a team-versus-team challenge.

Which escape rooms are available – and how difficult are they?
- Artefacts – Adventure, ideal for beginners. (Max 7 · ages 12+)
- Dr. Eisenbarth – Mystery, moderate difficulty. (Max 7 · ages 14+)
- Carrie – Psychological thriller, intense & spooky. (Max 6 · ages 16+)

Can I cancel or reschedule?
Yes: free of charge up to 72 hours in advance. After that, a fee of €50 per game applies.
How much does an EscapeVenture game cost?
Pricing depends on the game and your group size. You’ll see the exact total price directly in the booking calendar for your selected time slot.
Can I change the number of players later?
Yes – up to the maximum allowed player count. Any overpayment will be refunded on site.
Which payment options are available?
Online: PayPal, credit card, bank transfer. On site: credit card, EC/debit card.
How do I reserve an escape room game?
Choose your game, date & time in the calendar – done.
- Online payment: booked instantly, ticket + invoice by email.
- Pay on site: time slot is reserved, confirmation by email.
Can we play the escape rooms in English?
Yes – all games are available in German & English.
How do I get an invoice?
You’ll receive the invoice automatically after payment by email. Companies can often claim the costs as a team-building activity.
How do I book a VR escape game?
VR is only available in Magdeburg – for 2, 4, 6 or 8 players.
- 2–4 players → VR Box 1 or 2
- 6–8 players → both boxes at the same time
Can we just walk in?
Please always book online. Yellow time slots in the calendar can be requested at short notice (subject to availability).
How far in advance should we book?
Ideally, book early – especially on weekends. You can book online up to shortly before the game starts, as long as slots are available.

When should I arrive for the escape game?
Please arrive about 5–10 minutes before your booked time. This gives enough time for a short introduction, questions, and final preparations before the countdown starts.
Are there any age restrictions for participation?
With an accompanying adult:
Artefacts from age 6 · VR games and Dr. Eisenbarth from age 12 · Carrie from age 14.
Without an accompanying adult:
Artefacts from age 12 · Dr. Eisenbarth from age 14 · Carrie from age 16. Children under 6 are not charged.
What should I bring to the game?
For our classic escape rooms, you don’t need any special equipment – comfortable clothing is perfectly fine.
For VR games, we provide all equipment and VR headsets. It’s best not to wear bulky or heavy tops, as they can restrict your freedom of movement. Updos can interfere with the VR headset. Glasses can usually be worn under the VR headset.
Do I need a consent form?
For participants under 16, we require a signed consent form from a parent or legal guardian. The form should be completed, signed, and brought along to the game.

Our missions are not dangerous and require no athletic actions such as running or climbing. The important thing is to follow the rules despite the excitement and to listen to your body.
Participation during pregnancy is generally at your own responsibility. If in doubt, please talk to your doctor beforehand.

After the Game
The end of the game, photos & feedback – here’s what happens after your escape game.
How long does a game last?
The actual game time is a maximum of 60 minutes – if you solve all puzzles earlier, the mission will naturally end sooner.
Please also allow around 5 minutes for the briefing before the game and 5–10 minutes for the debriefing & photo after the mission.
What happens if we don’t finish the game?
If you don’t reach the goal within the given time, the game ends automatically – but your experience is not “lost”.
The fun, the tension, and solving together are what matter most, regardless of whether you escape in time or not. If you’d like, we can also walk you through the final puzzles afterwards.
How can I share my experience or leave feedback?
Feel free to share your experience on social media – just please be careful not to spoil specific puzzles or solutions, so other teams can enjoy the same fun.

If your experience was affected in any way, please let us know – we want to clarify things transparently and improve.
Can I take photos or videos after the game?
During the game, photos and videos inside the room are not allowed in order to protect the puzzles and avoid spoiling the experience for other groups.
After the game, you’re welcome to take photos in the designated areas. If you’d like, the Game Master can take a group photo of you – perfect for sharing with friends or on social media.

EscapeVenture is perfect for team events, company parties, birthdays, and private groups. Depending on your group size, we split you into teams who play in multiple rooms in parallel.

Additional Players & Real Rooms
In many cases, you can add more players as long as you do not exceed the maximum number of players allowed for the room. Adjustments are easy to make on site.
Artefacts, Doc Eisenbarth, Carrie, HackAttack, and Starwreck are real, physical escape rooms – not VR or purely virtual experiences.

All EscapeVenture locations are easy to reach by public transport. Parking options are usually available nearby.

Facilities & Pets
Our rooms are heated, so they’re comfortable to play even in winter. We currently do not have air conditioning.
Pets are unfortunately not allowed – animals may not be brought into the rooms.
